Lions Clubs International District 19A will raise fund for the Dog Guides Expansion Project of Lions Foundation of Canada 
 
Lions Clubs International District 19A announced that it will hold a Fundraising Gala Dinner on January 15, 2023 for the expansion of the Dog Guides training facility under the Lions Foundation of Canada(LFCDG).
LFCDG has been renowned for its hard work in providing Canadians with well-trained service dogs since 1983.  In the beginning, only vision dog guides were provided.  Gradually it has developed seven Dog Guides programs, including Canine Vision, Hearing, Service, Seizure Response, Autism Assistance, Diabetic Alert and Facility Support.
LFCDG is entering an exciting and transformative phase based on its strategic plan, vision and priorities.  With increasing demand each year, it plans to provide 250 Dog Guide teams per year, which is not feasible by the current training facility.
